Microflora and the first three years

Do you want a healthy baby? Then, you must read this

Microflora and the first three years

Your child's first 3 years are very important. During these three years, the foundations of the stomach/intestinal microflora that will be used throughout life and the intestinal walls formed by this microflora and the general diet are formed. In the first three years, the microflora never develops so quickly and affects the body so much. This will most likely determine his diet in three years, whether he will develop an autoimmune disease later, his average weight, and whether he will develop cancer.

According to the results of the study, children who used antibiotics during the first three years were 3 times more likely to develop inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease. Let's say that an antibiotic was used in one form or another. What to do next? The sooner we strengthen the intestinal walls, the better.

How do we do that?

By eating healthy. By drinking frequent lamb bone broth and increasing the intake of functional fats. For example, coconut oil, butter, etc. Coconut oil restores intestinal walls and strengthens microflora. Proper probiotic supplements should be used to revive microflora after antibiotics. For this, it is necessary to use additional probiotics until the age of one year, and after one year, fermented products (pickled cucumbers, vinegar, etc.) are gradually added to the diet. Breast milk is very important during this period! Of course, for probiotics (beneficial bacteria) to settle and live in the intestines, they need to be cared for and "fed". The favourite food of beneficial bacteria is vegetables. Especially winter vegetables. They should be eaten a lot and often. The right prebiotic supplements can also be used in this regard.

The most common question I hear from parents trying to feed healthy food is, "How long can you keep it?" "When he grows up, he starts eating harmful things anyway," said depressing words.

But(!), how our taste receptors are formed depends on what we eat in the early years (from the mother's womb).

If we eat healthy, we have healthy microflora and strong, beneficial bacteria. Our bodies also require healthy flavours/tastes that we need. Because "demanders" are mainly bacteria (pathogens) in our body. We demand food from whichever side is stronger. For example, if candida is aggravated, the body requires sweet and starchy foods. If the beneficial bacteria are strong, the beneficial proteins like vegetables, etc. ^_^

BABY CARE

From the first minute of a child's life, the most important thing he needs is warmth, proper nutrition, cleanliness, a place to sleep peacefully, protection from illness and injuries, and most importantly, family love.

The room temperature should be warm enough (+20-22oC). It is necessary not to place the child's bed near a window, or a cold wall, and most importantly, it should be kept away from gloves. The child should be protected from frostbite during bathing and dressing. The child tolerates the heat very hard, so the child's bed should not be placed near the stove or electric heaters and should be protected from direct sunlight.

To bring the temperature of the room where the baby lives to the desired level, it is necessary to regularly ventilate the room. This not only helps to change the temperature of the room, but also helps to clean the air, because the need for oxygen in children is more than that of adults. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the humidity of the room where the child is sleeping, so it is necessary to store water in an open container (for example, an ordinary jar). Protect the baby from tobacco smoke, do not allow smoking at home.

When choosing clothes and bedding for your baby, always choose things made from natural fabrics. Synthetic fibres restrict air flow to your child's skin and can cause allergic rashes.

Do not swaddle the baby tightly, this will cause the body to overheat, stop sucking and sweat profusely.

It is necessary to choose a light and warm cover for the child. A baby does not need a pillow. Ensure that the baby's body is kept clean. Wash the child with warm water, wipe the eyes separately with cotton soaked in boiled warm water. Noses are cleaned with soft cotton.

Wash or wipe the child with a wet towel when changing clothes or bedclothes, and be sure to wash after each bowel movement. A girl can be bathed facing backwards, and a boy can be bathed lying on his stomach in your arms.

BAPTISM

Before bathing your child, it is necessary to prepare the necessary items: a tub or bathtub (it is advisable to have a separate one for the child), baby soap, baby shampoo, and a towel or sheet to wrap the baby after bathing. Make sure the room is warm enough for bathing. Always fill the tub or tub with cold water before adding hot water. If you don't have a thermometer handy and you can't determine the temperature of the water, the easiest way is to touch your elbow to the water. If you feel a warm, pleasant temperature, then the water temperature is right for bathing the baby. Your family members can help in christening the child.

SLEEP

In the first months, the child sleeps an average of 16-18 hours a day. In many families, the child is put in the crib during sleep. It interferes with the movement of the child. Movement not only develops the musculoskeletal system but also invigorates the whole body. When the child moves, breathing improves and oxygen supply to tissues in the body is better ensured. If the child spends a lot of time in the crib, his communication with parents and others decreases. This harms the child's psyche and lags behind in mental development. The more the child moves, the faster the brain develops. Therefore, free swaddling is important for the child.

WALKING

This is one of the main care of the baby. Most of the time, mothers cannot take their children for a walk due to lack of time or attention to our traditions. In summertime, the child should be walked for 1.5-2 hours on average. In our climate, a walk for a child should be in the morning and evening.
