Why do people become addicted to sugar?

Sugar makes people subservient to it. When you eat a sugar-free product, the receptors on the tongue receive it differently. This is why almost all foods contain sugar.

A person should take mainly three types of products, these are building products in the body: carbohydrates, protein, fat. Carbohydrates are found in sugar, carbohydrates are needed for energy generation, brain thinking and work, fatigue, and heart function. But there should be a norm. Excess carbohydrates are collected by the liver and turn into fat. The more sugar you eat, the more fat you gain.

Daily consumption of sugar ๐Ÿ’ญ

At one time, WHO (World Health Organization) said that the daily amount of sugar should be 30 g. But when there was an objection that there is a difference in body weight and age, why are they the same, it was processed and it was said that the amount of sugar should not exceed 10% of the daily calories needed by a person. 10 percent is 160 kcal, which corresponds to 40 grams of sugar, which is for a middle-aged person of average weight. Calorie requirements also vary by age and weight, so 10% of calories can be sugar.

According to some experts, it is not necessary to accept sugar products at all. Carbohydrates that we know clearly are starch, sugar, and honey, but there are carbohydrates in fruits, food, and drinks. It is difficult to find sugar-free products. Many people do not even see the contents of the product they are buying.

In the past, people ate sugar and it didn't hurt, because they were active physically, that is, it was appropriate for the energy they were expending. But that's not the case now. The more excess energy we consume, the more disease we develop.

Diseases caused by constant sugar consumption ๐Ÿฅ

First of all, cardiovascular diseases appear. Sugar accumulates in soft tissues, such as the heart, kidneys, brain, nerve tissues in the legs, and eye tissues. The pancreas also reacts quickly to sugar, and diabetes occurs as a result of consuming a lot of sugar.

In addition, nervous diseases also occur, changes in bone tissue (calcium absorption), allergic reactions, decreased immunity, and various viral diseases are aggravated as a result. Even during the coronavirus pandemic, deaths were mainly observed in people with diabetes. Diabetes and obesity should be fought, and behind it lies a healthy lifestyle
